The Care Professional Organisation is an independent professional body and membership organisation for Care Professionals in the UK, including self-employed care professionals and Personal Assistants. We offer professional services, guidance, professional development opportunities and benefits to our members. We recognise our members as professionals and treat them as such. 

We take positive action in recognising the value and importance of the care working vocation, and work with other stakeholders in the ongoing struggle to get the respect and recognition Care Professionals deserve. As we are care worker led, we know better than anyone the value and importance of social care work and the difficulties that are faced by the workforce every day. The Care Professional Organisation is actively working to make a difference. 

Yes. We are very proud of the fact that The Care Professional Organisation is highly respected and recognised as a social care stakeholder in its own right, whose opinion is often sought on issues concerning care and support workers. By joining The Care Professional Organisation you can be assured that you are joining an organisation that has a highly respected reputation in the social care sector.

No - The Care Professional Organisation is a Care Professional led professional body and operates differently to a trade union. As such we are unable to offer or provide workplace representation or get directly involved in workplace disputes. We do, however, offer our members free employment legal advice for employment matters whether they are directly or self-employed.

We have different membership options to cater for the many different types of the sector workforce. We have priced each membership to be affordable and that it offers good value. All of the member benefits have been negotiated and provided through the generosity of organisations who support and recognise our work, and who understand the value of Care Professionals.

You get access to everything included in your specific the Care Professional Organisation membership.  No waiting for content to be released to you, just jump in and start making use of the benefits and training straight away. We regularly update and add new material too - so your content library will continue growing. 

I'm afraid not. The Care Professional Organisation is not a care provider or an agency. We do work with many providers and agencies and can offer a signposting service to any vacancies they may have.

We would naturally say of course you should join. We'd really like every Care Professional in the UK to become part of a successful, growing professional organisation exclusively for care and support workers, somewhere to get answers to your questions - get the support you deserve, the Care Professional Organisation is that place. So why not give the Care Professional Organisation a chance and join and now would be a good time.
